General liability protects you as an independent cleaner in case a client falls in a home, a TV breaks, or any damage occurs.

This is a requirement to work with us, however, we do provide all new cleaners with a 30-day window to obtain it.

This grace period allows you to start earning and get a feel for working with us. Typically, the cost ranges from $30 to $60 per month, and you're free to choose any insurance company you prefer.

How do I get jobs through Maid Easy?

Once you're approved, we’ll match you with recurring and one-time cleaning jobs based on your availability and service area. You’ll receive job details through our platform so you can plan ahead and show up prepared.

How and when do I get paid?

You’ll receive payment every Friday through direct deposit for completed jobs. You also keep 100% of any tips from clients.

Is this a W-2 job or 1099 contractor role?

This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity. You manage your own schedule, bring your own supplies or use our package, and work independently or with your own team.

Do I need to bring my own supplies and equipment?

You’re expected to bring your own supplies and equipment, including a vacuum, mop, and cleaning products. However, Maid Easy offers a supplies and equipment leasing program, which includes: Vacuum Mop and bucket Cleaning solutions and sprays Microfiber cloths and scrubbers Gloves and other essential cleaning tools For only $15 a week, this fee is deducted directly from your weekly payment, making it easy to manage without any upfront cost.

Can I choose my own schedule?

Yes. You set your availability, and we’ll send jobs that fit your preferred days, times, and locations. Most work is Monday through Friday, between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM — no nights or weekends required.
